We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since the launch of The Lusso Tan Bath Bomb! The most highly sought after stocking filler for Christmas 2019 and we’re so proud that the phenomenal demand remains for 2020.
Let’s take a look at the evolution of one of our most cult products and how it’s inspired the development of other products in the Lusso Tan line.
A fresh canvas is vital for good tanning results and we firmly believe that removing tan is just as important as putting it on.
As, Lusso girl’s know the cardinal rule is to bid adieu to the sunless tan every 5-7 days (no matter how flawless it remains) in order to slough away dead skin cells for a fresh application.
Have we always known this? Yes.
Have we always hated the commitment? Yes.
And so the innovators in us, had to do something to simplify the process.
Launched in September 2019, and the first in the world of it’s kind, our tan removing Bath Bomb shook the tanning industry with 30,000 units snapped up in the first 3 months.
Featured in 100’s of publications worldwide, the Bath Bomb put Lusso Tan into the hands of 1000’s of new customers and attributed to the brand launching as far as Australia.
To give something back, we released the Summer Meadow Bath Bomb in March 2020 with proceeds going to Mencap & Down Syndrome Ireland through our #Take15minutes campaign encouraging busy mums to do exactly that Take. Fifteen. Minutes.
Initially announced as a limited-edition product, you all loved the fabulous floral fragrance and the perfectly pink fizz so much we just had to make it a permanent addition.
And aren’t we glad we did.
Summer Meadow went on to win Best Innovative Product in the Global Make Up Awards 2020, and is currently nominated in the Professional beauty Awards London and The Beauty Awards 2020 in partnership with ASOS (you can vote here).
