If you read no further than this, know that the key to the perfect Autumn glow is to GET YOUR SHADE RIGHT.
For that reason, our top tip for autumn tanning is to go down a shade. In the colder seasons our skin tone is often paler than in summer. If you chose a shade too dark you will find your tan does not wear as long. Your paler skin tone can not carry the shade you wore all Summer, the tan fades much quicker and can look uneven after just a few days. You may still like to use a dark lotion for nights out which is fine as long as you are aware that you may only get 3 days wear rather than the usual 5-7 days that comes with a Lusso Tan. The good news is, if you already use our Rapid Tan Mousse, you can easily adjust your shade by rinsing off sooner than would have.
MOISTURE is key for ensuring your skin's protection against the colder weather and dry heat in the upcoming months! Avoid super-hot showers which dry out the skin and can strip away the natural oils that keep it healthy and, of course, don’t forget to moisturise immediately after towelling off to lock in hydration.
