Remove any leftover fake tan and gently exfoliate your skin 24-48 hours before your next application. Pay particular attention to areas where tan tends to cling, including the elbows, knees and ankles.

The Day Before: Hydrate Your Skin
Hydrated skin = a smoother-looking tan.
Moisturise well the day before tanning, particularly if your skin is feeling dry. This helps create a more even base and can prevent tan from catching on dehydrated areas.
