We’ve had thousands of new customers since they were last in stock and as a result, many DMs enquiring who are they best suited to. Instead of answering them privately we thought you’d enjoy this go to guide on how or when to choose or use your Lusso Tan.
Perfect Primer
The key is in the name: Perfect Primer for Face and Body guarantees a long-lasting glow by rebalancing the skin’s pH into the ideal canvas for whatever Lusso tan you choose.
For: Everyone.
Primary use - Apply before every tan application to protect, repair, rebalance the skin.
Bonus use - Mist over the face & chest, as part of your morning skincare routine to hydrate the skin and plump up fine lines and wrinkles.
Rapid Mousse
Our antioxidant-rich Rapid Tan Mousse is a vacation in an instant. This award-winning tinted formula is a dream to blend and dries in just sixty seconds.
For - Especially popular for sensitive skins or sports enthusiasts but a favourite for beginners and pro tanners alike.
Primary use – Weekly tan application. Ready, set, glow: Rapid Tan Mousse makes achieving a light, medium, or dark tone in a flash easier than you ever imagined. Customise your desired shade by washing off after one hour for a lightly sunkissed look, two hours for a medium golden hue, or leave it on overnight for the ‘just got back from St. Barth’s’ effect. Your secret’s safe with us!
Bonus usage – Apply a second coat after developing time has passed and guide colour has been rinsed off (no later than 1 day after first application).
Use with our Sunless Tanning Brush to top up your glow on the hands and face in between applications.
Lotion
Self Tan Lotion allows you to care for your skin with organic ingredients such as aloe vera and green tea extract, while achieving a beachy, bronzed look.
For - Confident weekly tanners.
Primary use – Weekly tan application. Bring the warmth of the sun’s rays into your AM or PM routine and give yourself a gorgeous glow that will last for up to seven days.
Bonus usage – Use with our Sunless Tanning Brush to top up your glow on the hands and face in between applications.

For – Perfect for novice tanners and for skin tones that don’t hold a deep shade for more than a few days.
Primary use – Use everyday to gradually build a tan that’s perfect for your skin tone.
Bonus use – Use it to prolong a home or spray tan, or to even out a holiday tan.
Skin Perfector
Our Skin Perfector is a one-way ticket to luminous skin with minimized imperfections. Just think of it like the Instagram Paris filter brought to life.
For – Skin tones that do not host a sunless tan as well as others and on the flipside those who enjoy a deeper shade.
Primary use – As the final step in the Lusso Tan Ritual. Apply over your sunless tan to enhance skin tone and airbrush blemishes, freckles, and veins to leave healthy and highlighted skin. It photographs extremely well and is especially popular for brides. It will take years of the chest area and hands and is an absolute must for wedding and engagement photos.
Bonus use – Apply a layer, to freshen up 5 day old tan until you’re ready for a new application.
